Yiki Leung

SENIOR ASSOCIATE, COMMUNITY VENTURES

“My 2030 New Urban is people choosing their ways of living while finding it fun and meaningful."

Yiki joined SVhk in 2018 as an Associate in the Innovation and Incubation team.

Translating the soft skills from her advertising and public relations experience, she engages in several community empowerment projects from idea curation to execution. These include HATCH, Cradle to Classroom, and Playtao Joyland. She also supports CSV projects and co-creates social impact with corporates, including Cathay Pacific to rejuvenate its community engagement strategy and curate new programme initiatives, which helped to refresh the cross-sector collaborations among NGOs, social enterprises, and business partners in creating shared value in the areas of youth development, diversity and inclusion, environmental protection, and global cultural exchange

Yiki also manages Project Melo, a platform to connect and build positive interactions between CEOs and university students in Hong Kong through co-creation projects for “business as a force for good” and the genuine and eye-opening “joint-discovery events”. She also manages the Social Leaders Programme (SLP), a summer internship and leadership program. By offering young professionals a chance to explore urban social issues and gain entrepreneurship skills on the field alongside a like-minded community, the program aims to empower futuremakers with the confidence to drive positive change in our city.

Yiki believes everyone can make an impact. “Be all you can be” — Yiki aspires to take part and do her best for the community. She loves the many possibilities and opportunities in life and hopes to grow every day — if not taller and bigger — then kinder and wiser.
