SVhk Foundation is a Registered Charitable Organization under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance that provides financial and non-financial support to social purpose organisations or social enterprises in Hong Kong.
For instance, SVhk has nurtured from concept to execution the Diamond Cab - Hong Kong's first professional, barrier-free taxi service brand. Equipped with wheelchair-accessible electric ramps as well as operated by professional taxi drivers who have received special training on serving wheelchair users, Diamond Cab offers a new affordable and accessible transportation option for people with disabilities. If you like the work we do and would like to play a part in supporting the development of social enterprises in Hong Kong, we invite you to join our Sonova Support Network. Donations we receive are used to support the Sonova Institute which develops and maintains the ecosystem of the social entrepreneurship industry. In the past, the Sonova Institute has invited expertise working in different sectors of the SE industry to network, pitch and share about the most creative ideas to tackle social problems in our Sonova Hour event. We've also organised the Asia Social Innovation Award - an annual, elementary, idea-generating exercise calling for "level-zero" social innovative ideas for the most pressing and common urban problems in Asian cities.
